As HR Manager at Speira Holmestrand, you will have overall responsibility for the HR function at the plant. You will lead an HR team of four employees and be a member of the plant’s management team. The role involves close and visible collaboration with managers and employees. The occupational health service is part of the HR function and reports to the HR Manager.

The position has a functional reporting line to HR in Germany, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Plant Manager in Holmestrand. You will also work closely with HR colleagues across Speira’s other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise and support managers on employee relations matters and leadership challenges

• Lead talent development, performance management and succession planning

• Ensure effective workforce planning and support the recruitment of key positions

• Monitor KPIs and HR analytics, and translate insights into actionable initiatives

• Ensure efficient and consistent HR processes in close collaboration with the HR team

• Lead negotiations with trade unions and build strong relationships with employee representatives

• Drive organizational and competence development, culture initiatives and change processes

• Act as a strategic sparring partner to the Plant Manager and the management team

• Lead and participate in (cross-functional) projects, driving continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness

We are looking for someone with 5–10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with leadership experience, and a relevant degree in HR, leadership or organizational development. Experience from the industrial sector is an advantage, as is a strong understanding of the Norwegian labour market, including cooperation and negotiations with trade unions. Candidates shoiuld have a proven track record of leading projects, optimizing processes, and driving initiatives that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

You are able to combine operational HR with strategic development and communicate effectively in both Norwegian and English.
